Technical Lead – Network Products & Solution Support ( L2)

Core Responsibility

This person will be the technical owner for AlphaBridge products, responsible for:

  1. L2/L3 escalation support for customer issues.
  2. Guiding internal support/presales engineers.
  3. Preparing and reviewing HLD / LLD / BOQ / solution architecture.
  4. Supporting POCs, demos, interoperability testing.
  5. Handling technical discussions with customers like ISPs, TSPs, enterprises, government, SI partners.
  6. Creating product documentation, troubleshooting guides, SOPs and knowledge base.
  7. Coordinating with OEM/R&D/factory for bugs, firmware, feature requests and product improvements.
  8. Training sales and support teams on products and use cases.
  9. Supporting tender technical compliance and deviations.
  10. Owning post-sales technical closure and customer satisfaction.

Key Skills Required

Look for someone with strong hands-on experience in:

  • Layer 2 / Layer 3 switching
  • VLAN, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP, QinQ
  • Routing: Static, OSPF, BGP basics/preferred
  • MPLS understanding — good to have
  • GPON/FTTx architecture
  • SFP/SFP+/QSFP optics knowledge
  • Enterprise and ISP network design
  • HLD/LLD preparation
  • Troubleshooting packet-level/network-level issues
  • CLI-based configuration
  • NMS/SNMP/syslog basics
  • POC execution and customer handling

Experience Level

Ideal profile:

  • 8–12 years experience
  • Background from ISP, telecom OEM, system integrator, networking product company, NOC/L3 support
  • Should have handled customer-facing technical escalations
  • Should be comfortable guiding junior engineers
